International Baccalaureate

Saint Andrew's School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, which allows students to see the world through different lenses. The continuum of international education offered by IB encourages both personal and academic achievement, creating lifelong learners who make practical connections, between their studies and the real world. The IB programme frames topics in language, social studies, math, arts, and science; and personal, social, and physical education.

Scots See the Bigger Picture

Scots in Lower School and Middle School, and those who choose to participate in IB in Upper School, explore topics that pique their interests and create projects with their teachers as mentors. Students ask probing questions and together research and search for answers. Topics have included human rights, global warming, and writing a self-help book for teens. IB students engage in meaningful, relevant conversations and cultivate a depth and breadth of knowledge.
